I have no issues with ’04 … maybe because I’ve never updated it. I mean…consider the source. If it ain’t broke….
After version 11.3.3 Word started sneaking around on the network and trying to sniff out other programs. Figured that out around 11.3.5 and searched out the 11.3.3 and reinstalled.
I’ve not used iWork, but I’m fine with an already paid for Office. But I’ll tell you, month by month, year by year I’m weaning myself away from those folks. I expect never to purchase MS again.
Put simply, MS Office is the best suite of office apps.

Anyone know how to get Apple’s iWork and Dictionary to support an Australian English dictionary? ‘Cos until that happens, though I own iWork 08, I can’t use it for work.

I copied this line from the pages help file:
If you’d like more options, including the ability to choose different dictionaries, choose Edit > Spelling > Spelling to open the Mac OS X Spelling window.
you could always just add the english words to the spellcheck.
