“Early adopters of Apple’s iPhone are getting their first service bills from AT&T — and some customers say they are so detailed they belong in libraries.
Justine Ezarik, a Pittsburgh graphic designer and active Internet blogger, got her first bill on Saturday. She says it was so huge — 300 pages — it was delivered in a box. AT&T detailed every text message and Internet use for her billing period. ‘This is so silly,’ she told USA TODAY. ‘There’s no reason they need to send you this much information,'” Jefferson Graham reports for USA Today.

Justine Ezarik and her AT&T iPhone bill:
KDSK-TV reports, “AT&T said that customers have three bill options and they don’t have to select one with all of the detail, which would save paper. Ezarik says she’ll use the online billing in the future.”

[Thanks to MacDailyNews Reader “Jesus” for the heads up.]
You can easily request paperless bills from AT&T Mobility online.
However, I think AT&T should have heavily promoted paperless billing prior to the launch. The northwest is probably completely stripped of trees now ready for paving.
300 pages? Jesus INDEED, or is that Jesus Phone?
Jesus iPhone or Jesus AT&T?
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
MDN word: “jesus” Like, “Jesus that’s a big phone bill!”
Actually, that’s AT&T’s little way of letting you know THAT THEY ARE RECORDING EVERYTHING YOU DO.
NSA, AT&T, Cisco, same difference. All BIG BROTHER.
Get used to it, you’ve lost your privacy.
Why? Because you gave up instead of standing up.
Is that your phone bill, or are you happy to see me!
I’ve never seen such a big ream in a box before
“Big Brother” my butt! You just have to know how to outsmart the machines! Yeah, Neo is one of my guys.
I’d love to give her box something.
You wouldn’t see a fugly iPhone user being interviewed about the bill.

30,000 texts in a month !!! thats alot (thats is incoming as well as out going)
That is a tasty blog snack!
No, this is not a problem! If Apple is involved then everything’s perfect! Users should be GRATEFUL for all the extra paper! If the bill is $100, that’s only 33¢ a sheet! Pogue is wrong!
She’s a very pretty girl…I’m not surprised she gets and makes a lot of calls.
wait she had 30,000 texts total?
I sure hope her boyfriend, if she has one, isn’t someone who likes piece and quite. Jeez, what a blabbermouth!
Another one of the “8%” who were not satisfied with iPhone because of AT&T’s customer service…
She’s the type of girl who, though intelligent, never needs to crack open a book to be successful in life. But 30,000 text messages in a single month–Jeez!! I bet her boyfriend feels neglected. Oops, or her girlfriend…uh, wow.
boy oh boy – she has luscious lips!
Silly Moo.
Yeow, like ‘pr’ says – can imagine she’s getting a LOT of ‘incoming’ calls/messages/whatever.
But – after doing some quick math from 2 years of my ATT/Cingular bills, which average about 40 pages a month and about 40-50 odd items per page – can figure this girl must spend ALL her time ON the phone, so she maybe doesn’t have much of a real life in the non-cyber world.
What a waste of young blonde bandwidth 🙁

@ MDN Take….
funny man… funny.
The Dude abides.
You thinking about something like this NSFW video?
She was a guest host on MacBreak Weekly this week (check out the podcast on the iTunes Store)
That’s a really nice box.
I’d like to hear her opinion on the usability of the iphone’s touch keyboard.
OMFG!
LOL!!!
Probably most of that was calls she was making to clients selling sex services.!
Looks like the bill was printed single sided too.
I wonder how many trees are gonna be chopped down a month so AT&T can print out there customers bills?
well if we would legalise hemp and use it for paper instead none
Somehow the first two steps were skipped…she went straight to opening the box.
She’s complaining about getting a 300 page bill for her iPhone but it’d be exactly the same if she was using a different phone as she talks and text too much.
Its AT&Ts; fault not the iPhone.
Oh well! Damned if you do, damned if you don’t! If the bills aren’t detailed enough, then there’ll be whining along the lines of, “How do I know what I’m paying for?” Unfortunately, she’s probably a chronic iPhonemaniac.
She’s FIne.
The video is titillating.
30 days @ 24 hr/day – (8 hours per day for sleep &/ sex time)
= 16 hours per day for 30 days left over for text messaging
= 16hr x 60min x 30days = 28,800 minutes a month of productive texting time.
So, 30,000 / 28,800min = 1.04 text messages per minute, every day for 16 hours solid including eating and bathroom time. ya right!
she must be a mass marketing spam queen or something.
Weren’t most of the charges related to automatic email checking every few minutes?
I’d like to give her some lip gloss.
On another interview she also claims that the iPhone is only ONE of two phones she uses. She also says again that she does 30,000 to 35,000 text messages (per month). so, 1,000 text messages every day.
Seems like a sweet enough girl, but really, do something ELSE with your life other then just wearing out the glass on your iPhone!
Is it even possible to type 1000 txts AND sleep. She must be txting to groups of people each time.
Computers – the worst thing that ever happened to trees, after the chainsaw!
I would laugh, but its sooooo f*****g SAD!!!! AT&T: Fix this now! If you don’t say bye bye to any sort of profit margin you had as you will start having to make hostile take overs of forests and ink-toner companies.
YOU SHORT-DICKED IDIOTS!!
She’s an obvious fake, either an actress or model (or hooker) looking for work. If the bill isn’t a fake as well, she made one valiant effort to make the bill as fat as possible. Even a dumb blonde could hardly run up that many IM’s by accident.
IMO she’s not that cute either. Phony over-dolled chicks with those creepy fake eyebrows don’t do it for me.
First of all, I think we both know that she’s at least twice as good looking as any girl you’ve ever been out with – that is, if you’ve even been out with a girl. I kind of doubt it, though. You trying to hard to impress.
Secondly, she is for real, and this is a real issue. She’s friends with Leo Laporte and the rest of the Mac Break Weekly podcast guys. She is on this week’s podcast talking about it.
Furthermore, a similar thing happened to David Pogue of the New York Times and he wrote about it in one of his columns.
So, uh, let’s not put on such a big show about supposedly not being fooled, because you are, in fact, fooling yourself.
I got your pegged, bubba. Deal with it!
somebody please tell me what the name of that song thats playing in the background. i have been trying hard to find out the artist but to no avail. if someone knows it, please let me know.
back on topic, yes she def has a fat bill from ATT. wtf is she complaining about after all those texts and calls she made?Abdullah, u took the words right outta my mouth.
Perfect Timing (This Morning)” by Orba Squara
Wow this girl should go work for MS she should be able to improve vista using her iPhone
Hang up and drive!!!
BTW I think she’s hot.
CHRIST ALMIGHTY she’s strikingly gorgeous! She basically became a non-paid commercial spokewoman FOR the iPhone–everyone’s ganna want to get their hands on her… I mean, one. She’s turn a gay preacher into a sinner!
@ eas

Are you an idiot. How is this a fault in any way. You have a choice of detailed billing or not. I bet you would complain if you did not get all of your activity on your bill if you wanted it. Now STFU…
Choice is always good.
My God, she’s gorgeous. She definitely belongs on TV. Great personality, too. Did you see how much she lit up and smiled when she was asked about her iPhone. And I have to give her credit for remaining interesting for the whole interview with all those obtuse questions.
What a waste of paper.
She looks great, although I prefer fat chicks.
Just an average looker by Australian standards. And now for the real point. If you surf the net using a cell/mobile phone it’s going to cost an arm and a leg. Whether Apple is selling an iPhone or not I still wouldn’t be buying one. Frankly, I’ve got more to do with my life…like breathing.
Walter, put a sock in it. I’ve been to Australia, and on average, your little down under hoes aren’t anything special.
I *do* get awfully tired of internet pretenders.
And Walter, one more thing. We both know that she’s at least twice as hot as any girl you’ve ever even come close to doing the deed with……if you’ve even done the deed, that is.
LMAO! No sh+t, his is so cool! The same songs as in the iPhone ads! Now, if that’s not a good choice?
” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”grin” style=”border:0;” />

I don’t aim to impress, I just state the facts.
That said, she still looks like an outcast i-chick relegated to some Internet dating site. With that many IM’s she’d certainly fill the part.
If you want something at least twice as good looking, get outside and see what real women are made of.
</i>She’s friends with Leo Laporte and the rest of the Mac Break Weekly podcast guys. She is on this week’s podcast talking about it.</i>
That only proves she’s an actress (i.e. phony by nature) and looking for attention. How typical.
You just come across more foolish with each post. Judging this girl on so many levels.?.?. Honestly, makes you worse then the immature posters who can only state she is “hot”.
Please don’t say “I prefer fat chicks”, everyone knows that is false. Be honest, you (for whatever reason) feel you must settle for “fat chicks”.
