my fans feel snapier
it now acts as a refrigerator as well! A really snappy refrigerator
Wow! My snapper really feels snappier!
It is nice to know that my fans will behave now…
It was quite disgusting some of the things they would do to get my attention!
Yell, scream, make funny noises in the night!
Groupies – they are all alike…
“Y Yes, Some of my fans are snappier!” (Think of the talkovers in Propellerheads stuff)

The calculator feels snappier. I’ve run some benchmarks and the results are impressive.
When the Mac Pro SMC Update 1.1 executed, it popped up a window asking me “Where is System Events” among a long list of unrelated items. I couldn’t (even using Spotlight), so I selected “cancel” on that window which took me back to the main firmware update window. I selected “restart” on the firmware update window which brought up the “Where is System Events” window again. When I again selected “cancel” in that window, my computer then restarted and the firmware update executed. Afterwards I verified that the SMC Version is 1.7f10. So the SMC firmware update apparently worked, but I still don’t know why I was queried about the location of “System Events.” This was not the typical seamless Apple software update experience.
