This is an easy fix… Just get OpenOffice.
My Mac has been proudly M$ free for 10 years.
Well I am shocked and impressed! This update along with the one preceding it (which I held off from updating as I heard it broke MS Office) have actually made it run FASTER on my MacBook!
Who would have thought a Microsoft update would IMPROVE performance??
I agree. Resorting to “everyone else is doing it” is never a persuasive argument. I use Word 98 on my Power Tower Pro, and rarely Word X or Excel X on my G4. The only thing I enjoy about Word is its “compare documents” and “track changes” features.
where’s the universal binary update? warcraft 3 just popped up in it’s latest minor update.. oh yah this version is UB.. Microsoft? Microsoft? Microsoft?
