‘The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs’ shuts down – again

“The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs (Dude, I invented the friggin iPod. Have you heard of it?) has been one of the funniest tech things on the web recently, but it may be under attack,” Jack Schofield reports for The Guardian. “In his latest — and possible last — post, the anonymous Fake Steve says:”

Well my friggin lawyers are advising me that I will have to shut down this scandalous old blog. Details not worth going into here. Someday I’ll be able to explain. Maybe I’ll write a book or something. Maybe a really beautiful e-Book that you can carry in your pocket and which will be sleek and elegant and shiny, with rounded corners and an extremely hi-res touch screen and only one button.

  1. My favorite blog of all time.

    A lot of effort for something that goes creditless, so I’m guessing he either ran out of time/energy/enthusiasm or perhaps got a new job that conflicts.

    Not really lawyers, but in the voice of that blog of course it would be the lawyers.
