Apple to hold special event at Photokina Sept. 24

“Apple will host a special event this month in Cologne, Germany, one day before the start of the Photokina tradeshow. Apple’s invitation to the September 24 event is typically nondescript, but it does give a hint as to what the company will talk about,” Jim Dalrymple reports for Macworld News.

“‘Start photokina a little early this year’ is the message on the invitation. Below that text is the front of a camera lens — and what appears to be a closeup of the same image used on the front of the box for Aperture, Apple’s pro photo post-processing application,” Dalrymple reports. “After looking at the invitation and the focus of the show, it seems logical that Apple will discuss or show Aperture, which first debuted last October.”

  1. No, it was Crawford,Tx that turned them down. They all use Dells there, it being a Texas company. The folks in Crawford actually think we are winning in Iraq because Faux Newz told them so.

I’ll take the previous President from Hope, Arkansas over the gunslinger from Tx any day of any week of any year. That ‘liberal’ balanced the budget and actually paid down some of our debt, unlike Dubya.

    How about those Apples?

  2. “How about those Apples?”

Anyway, they appear to really be pushing aperture.

  3. Thorin: Air America bankrupt? source please! Since i listened to it just yesterday, it seems unlikely. Of course, right wing FUD has been spouting this for a few years

let’s not forget that El senior Vespucci didn’t get his job on Monster.com, he got on board La Santa Maria to escape an unwanted pregnancy situation. Cartography you see have place him should we say on the map of some girl’s father.
