iPod wars continue behind-the-scenes

“Apple’s iPod has been an amazing hit over the last several years, driving Apple’s results and stock price, as this chart shows. It’s not too surprising, then, that semiconductor manufacturers fight over the iPod like two siblings quarreling over who gets to ride in the front seat on the way to the grocery store,” Dan Bloom reports for The Motley Fool.

    Montley Fool is a great investor resource that unlike other analysts, actually puts a great deal of research into their analysis, not just gut feal or Bear Raid FUD.

    Yeah, MDN is the tool for not linking to a hosted graph for those without MF subscriptions.

  2. I hope one of these two companies can do something about the iPods ravenous hunger for petrol. That right, iPods consume as much fuel to operate as an SUV.

    Says who? Well according to O’Reilly from Fox news, that’s who. Last night Bill spoke on making sacrifices to help stem fuel costs. He continually spoke of SUVs and iPods as a big part of the problem. And here I thought the iPod was run on batteries.

    For those of you iPods users, please stop using iPods and help save America.
