Adobe Releases Flash Player 9 (PowerPC only)

Adobe released Flash Player 9, but it’s only for PowerPC-based Macs.

  1. Macrodobe – the union inspired and scared me. Yeah, it would be awesome to see some of their tools and tech merged. But Adobe has always been s-l-o-w. They sat on After Effect for years until FCP kicked them in their tail, and updates to Photoshop were often slow and uninspired until Macromedia released Fireworks.

    They only tools they seem to really worry about improving are the ones that they have direct competition with, and they just bought out their biggest competition on several fronts.

  2. “Downloaded the Flash update and installed it. Noticed that no Admin password was required. Should this product install without being prompted for a Admin password?

    I was prompted, and I was installing from my admin account. Not sure why it didn’t prompt you. Anyone else?
