“Design, photography, music, film, motion graphics — unbound by discipline, creative pros are drawing from any or all of them to redefine the work they do. Meet three of these pros in video profiles featured in the newly designed Pro site. Explore the site further to read about the exciting work your fellow pros are engaged in, to learn the latest on what you can do with color, to get helpful tips to help you get the most out of the tools you use everyday, and more,” reads the blurb announcing the new Pro site on Apple.com.
Apple’s new Pro site is divided into four sections:
• Profiles: stories of how pros create “Design,” “Film & Video,” “Photography,” and “Music and Audio” with Apple products, plus links to Apple’s “Science” pages and more.
• Solutions: tips and tricks in the categories of “Design,” “Film & Video,” “Photography,” and “Music and Audio.”
• Mac OS X Tips: Excellent tips and tricks for Mac OS X and Mac applications.
• Resources: Downloads, Links, Seminars, and Quick Tours

wonderboy:
I’ve never denied a Mac user help. I’ve denied PC users help daily.
With a little schadenfreude. My new website will be to promote my incredibly funny comic drawings and somehow get the image of Bea Arthur naked out of people’s minds. I’ve been working in Flash 8 and holy crap zuzumongo is this fun! A Mac Help Site is best left to Geniuses.
Wish me luck!
OK Ampar — have a great long weekend!
Is it just my old eyes or does anyone else have a hard time reading that grey type? Do they expect people to read it or do they just want it to look good. I like grey text but that is way to close to white and too much work.
APPLE POO SITE??
Oh, Apple Pro Site!
First post! First post! First post!
Yeah! Take that, in yer face man!
Looks like it was patterned after Adobe Design Center:
http://www.adobe.com/designcenter/
I think the background is supposed to be black or something, ’cause it does NOT look right otherwise.
Quezzie,
They do look very similar, although Apple’s site looks MUCH nicer. But I don’t appreciate the “wide” aspect of Apple’s site. Come on, not everyone has a 30 inch display!
Ampar,
How do you post so frequently? You must have “Hyper-refreshitis”.
“How do you post so frequently?”
I pay for decent bandwidth.
Is it just me or is the gray text really annoying? It can be kind of hard to read. At least before my morning coffee.
MW: youre as in ‘mine’. Maybe you’re eyes need checking.
It’s too wide grr
Safari has to be wider than my iBook’s crap 1024×768 to get rid of the horizontal scroll bar of death
Bah humbug
Hehe, that pro site displays like crap in Opera. They haven’t even defined the background color.
MW brought, as in brought to you by a company that obviously doesn’t know the first thing about web design.
