Wired posts ‘Apple Operating System Gallery’ to mark Apple’s 30th birthday

On April 1, Apple celebrates its 30th birthday. Having created one of the first personal computers and the graphical mouse-and-menu interface most PCs now use, it is now reshaping the music industry with the iPod and iTunes. To celebrate the company’s birthday, Wired News has posted screenshots in an “Apple Operating System Gallery” which runs the gamut from Apple’s DOS 3.3 through Mac OS X 10.0.

    And left me a little teary eyed….those of us that have been with Apple since the Mac Plus days, just can’t help getting nostalgic.

  3. Happy Anniversary, Apple. I have never bought a PC running Windows. The only PCs I have ever purchased have been Apple Macintoshes. And I have switched a few people in my day as well.
