Softchaos ships Workstrip 3.2.2 dock alternative for Mac OS X

WorkStrip organizes files into ‘Workspaces’ to represent a project, a client or a different aspect of the work that a person does. Customization provides efficiency help such as unique workspace icons, advanced tracking of original documents, date hierarchy in recent items, fast access to all opened windows, and bookmarks for folders, files and websites.

  1. Nice try, but too involving. If you really need this for very specific needs, then give it a try, but otherwise, the Dock takes care of 95% of all needs. Most users will never need this extra crap. It’s a bit like DragThing.
