Analyst Keith Bachman of Banc of America Securities has reiterated his “buy” rating on Apple Computer (AAPL). Bachman has also raised his target price from $43 to $56. Bachman raised Apple’s Earning Per Share (EPS) estimates for F4Q05 from $0.33 to $0.38 and FY06 from $1.48 to $1.75.
In his research note, Bachman noted that unit growth in 2006’s digital music player market is likely to be higher than was previously estimated. Channel checks indicate healthy unit sales of Apple’s iPod lines, the analyst says.
It’s about time to raise from $43. They’re at about 52 already. sheesh

This guy is brilliant.
I predict that the Patriots will win the superbowl last year.
That’s FUNNY, hammer. You made my afternoon!
Please hammer don’t hurt em! Perfect post to an idiotic analyst action.
And I predict that night will follow day, so long as you are not in the Arctic/Antarctic Circles.
Furthermore, I predict that George W Bush will not be President after the end of January 2009.
Also, some dinosaurs were thin at one end; much, much, much bigger in the middle; and very, very thin again at the other end.
In the words of Basil Fawlty: “What is your name?” Keith Bachman; “Specialist subject?” Stating the bleeding obvious!
You can’t get rid of me that easily. In 2000 I got in by a corrupt Supreme Court, and in 2004 by electronic voting machines preloaded with thousands of votes in my favor. What makes you think I won’t be around in 2009?
