This is a simple story that MacDailyNews readers will write below. We have received numerous email messages from MDN readers either reporting Pepsi iTunes winning caps or complaining that the only Pepsi iTunes bottles they’ve seen are the ones on Apple’s website.
Unfortunately, most of these messages do not state the readers’ locations. So, tell us all where you found your Pepsi iTunes bottles or where you’ve looked, but found not a one.
By the way, the iPod Garage “iTunes Pepsi Bottlecap Map” which tracks winning and losing caps (and cups) and their locations across the United States is here.

A Coke drinker’s forced migration to Pepsi in quest of free Apple iTunes – February 4, 2004
had to do a lot of looking around but finally found a Publix grocery store here in Kennesaw, GA (near Atlanta – the land of Coke) that has the Pepsi bottles – i purchased 2 and BOTH were winners!!
Caps in Rochester, NY. I haven’t won yet, but I have that good feeling.
No caps in Raleigh, NC.
Given that the over expires on 4/30/04 – this means Pepsi and Apple will save a bundle and have a lot of yellow caps for sale after the deadline.
I purchased two slurpees in Orange Co., CA – one won, the other did not. I figure the next one has a 1/3 chance of winning, though some would argue odds on for the remaining “sorry.”
The winning number last digit was directly under the “cut here” arrow. Bastards. Fortunately some one with more patience than I sussed it. One song was added to my existing balance of $0.01, to read “One Song + $0.01”
No caps in OC, though. Once again, the NBA has pre-empted my life!
No caps anywhere I’ve been to in Los Angeles. I’ve tried Gelson’s, Rite-Aid, Ralph’s, and several gas stations…
none in Cupertino, CA !!!
Adams, NY (near Watertown, NY) have won 3 out off 6 so far. I’m going to start “tipping” before I buy from now on!
It’s hard to find regular Pepsi with the iTunes caps around here, but you can find Diet w/o much problem. Still haven’t seen any Sierra Mist bottles yet…
I won two songs buying two bottles at a Stop & shop in wethersfield, CT
Nothin in NYC yet.
I got 4 winning caps out of 4 Pepsi bottles I bought, and I loss for Diet Pepsi. I never liked Diet Pepsi. But then, I never liked Pepsi that much. Why couldn’t Apple do Coke instead???
Sorry, too quick to click Submit. I live in Philadelphia.
Lots of caps in the greater Des Moines, Iowa area.
Tucson, AZ
The only place I’ve seen them is Walgreens. I’ve purchased about 10 Diet Pepsi’s, but have only won 2 times — which my kids promptly confiscated. I haven’t seen any other iTunes Pepsi products.
None in San Antonio, none in Biloxi MS.
None in Lake in the Hills, IL. Kenosha, WI / Fond du lac WI / Oshkosh WI / Appleton WI / or naperville IL. I travel for business. Heading to Iowa tomorrow.
None here in the Great white north Canada Eh, nor will there be until the itunes music store arrives by that time that pepsi will be skunk piss !! but my Brother in Portland Maine is winning 3 of 5 so far
Plenty here in Southern NJ (Atlantic County) I won 2 out of 6 already, right on the odds.
all over chicagoland. HA!
No caps in Humboldt Co (Northern CA). They still have the Probowl giveaway caps fer cryin’ out loud!
Yes, in South Bend, IN. And so far the odds are in my favorwith five out of seven bottles being winners. A former Diet Coke drinker. Thank you Pepsi and Apple.
No caps yet in the five places I’ve checked in Columbia, Missouri.
No pepsi caps, but their on serria mist and diet pepsi.
Northfield, MN
As mentioned before, no Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, or Sierra Mist caps in Orange County, CA (about 50 miles south of LA). I’ve checked pretty much every local store. I even braved the picket lines to check Ralph’s…now that would be an inducement to break the strike! I haven’t checked the local 7-11 to see if they have the stickers on the Big Gulps.
As also mentioned, there is a LA Lakers promotion going on which may be why there are no iTunes caps. I assume the bottlers get that money directly, which is why they’re not bothering with iTunes.
Yes, caps all over southern Iowa. I use the “bottle tip” method, and I’m 11/11.
