NetNewsWire 1.0.3 released; 25% discount offered through June

Ranchero Software has announced the release of a new version of the award-winning NetNewsWire, the easy-to-use RSS Web newsreader for Mac OS X.

NetNewsWire is an easy-to-use RSS Web news reader for Mac OS X. Its familiar three-paned interface, similar to Apple Mail and Outlook Express, can fetch and display news from thousands of different websites and weblogs, making it quick and easy to keep up with the latest news, including MacDailyNews.

NetNewsWire 1.0.3 features a new way of reading news — the new Combined View puts titles and descriptions together in a single pane. Another new feature is the ability to edit LiveJournal weblogs.

As a celebration of the new release, and to coincide with WWDC, Ranchero Software is running a start-of-Summer sale. NetNewsWire is $29.95 through the end of June. (The 10-user license is $22.45 per user.) This reflects a 25% savings off the regular prices. NetNewsWire will return to its regular price of $39.95 (USD) after June 30, 2003.
