How would you like to control and schedule just about any simple home appliance right from your Mac running Mac OS X? HomeRun can help. You’ll need: HomeRun, a controller that connects to your Mac. The controller takes commands from your Mac and sends them to modules attached to lamps or appliances, a USB adapter for the controller (the controller supported by HomeRun does not support USB, so you cannot plug it directly into current Macs – this adapter allows you to connect the controller to your Mac via a USB port), and one or more lamp or appliance modules. These modules plug into an electrical outlet, and you plug a lamp or appliance into the module. The module then controls the electricity to the lamp or appliance. More info and dwonload link here.
