‘iPhone’ may not be a ‘phone’ at all

Yesterday, MacDailyNews reported on Apple’s registration of the trademark of the name “iPhone” in Australia. Although we didn’t speculate about a potential Apple cellphone, other sites on the “Mac Web” did. “While past rumors of an Apple branded hybrid cellphone have created quite a stir, it is being rumored that iPhone may actually be a new iApp, for the purpose of communicating through video conferencing software.
