Apple today released a firmware update for the mirrored drive door Power Mac G4’s. The Power Mac G4 Firmware Update 4.4.8 improves fan control behavior and reduces high speed fan cycling when running in Mac OS 9. The download is available via the Software Update utility. It is 1.3MB.
