“Predictions that Apple will revise its PowerBook G4 line on November 5 appear accurate as the AppleStore has extended its delivery time on TiBooks from 1-2 days to 3-5 days,” reports Remy Davison for Insanely Great Mac. Apple has been widely tipped to up processor speeds on November 5, although recent reports suggest the updated model will not include a DVD-R SuperDrive, although the jury is still out on whether this will be the case. “It is also possible that Apple will give the iBook a specification bump at the same time in order to keep the model range competitive in the all-important Xmas buying season,” Davison writes.
