eWeek reports that “Apple Computer is looking toward a 64-bit future for the Mac — courtesy of PowerPC partner IBM.” It’s called the GPUL (GigaProcessor Ultralite). If this is rooted in reality, this development would make the “MHz Myth” a moot point, dramatically increasing Mac speed to unheard of levels. eWeek’s report here.
