If his legal team advise him to stay away from kids it is to prevent him being exploited again.
People may feel that they don’t want to allow their kids near him, and that is their right. But they are not doing that because he is guilty of any crime. They are doing it because of misconceptions formed from reading too many media reports that sensationalise and falsify reports. They only really reported the prosecutions case. For the most part they did not bother to print the defences rebuttals, or the huge amount of evidence that disproved the prosecutions case.
As I said before, a HUGE and expensive investigation did not produce ANY credible evidence to convict. As the head juror said, there was no smoking gun.
With the amount of resources thrown at the case and the amount of publicity surrounding it, they would have been able to get a conviction if he had committed the crimes. They could not even convict on the misdemeanour charges for christ sake!!
The previous accusation came to nothing, not because a payoff was made, but because there was no evidence. The case against Michael Jackson was kept open for YEARS after the payoff and no evidence was found. BTW, Michael Jackson never paid a penny to anybody, it was insurance money.
Michael Jackson IS different to all of us, that is certain. He has had a life of amazing fame and wealth at the expense of normality. Nobody here can possibly imagine what that is like.
The pressure exerted on him, particularly over recent years with so much speculation and so many lies must be immense. Again, nobody here can imagine what that is like.
He became a recluse when he was younger as a reaction to the fame and as a result does not see what we see. He should not be compare to the everyday person because he is not. But that does not mean he is any more likely of committing any wrong doing than any other person on this board.
Imagine if you were famous and somebody accused YOU of this crime? You endure a massive court case watched by hundreds of millions of people around the world and are acquitted of any wrong doing on ALL charges. Well obviously a fair share of people in this world still appreciate Michael Jackson for his artistry, just going by the fact that his decades old hit “Thriller” has remained in the top 15 downloaded music videos on iTunes since iTunes began selling music videos – and it was in the #1-#2 spot for months on end.
As far as the allegations are concerned, in my opinion they were proven false in court. Michael Jackson was acquitted on all charges, the jurors listed point-after-point as to why they could not believe the family (perjury, similar accusations against others, change in the number of molests, change in the timeline, major changes in other parts of the story, etc.) and now the mother of the family who created these allegations is facing multiple criminal charges for allegedly defrauding the welfare system of tens of thousands of dollars and committing perjury.
There’s another on-going accusation in which the man is claiming that when he was just two years old Michael Jackson stole his hit lyrics for the Bad album and also forced him to undergo plastic surgery – while molesting him for 6, 9, or 12 years straight depending on which story of his you are to believe. I simply find that allegation amongst the other few impossible to believe.
