“With the iPhone 7 rumors in full force now following WWDC this month and the unveiling of iOS 10, the latest might be our first look at pricing for the device,” Jordan Kahn reports for 9to5Mac. “An unconfirmed leak from Weibo (via PocketNow), where info from the Chinese supply chain has been known to appear in the past, shows alleged iPhone 7 pricing that has a new 256GB model will almost retain pricing of the current top of the line 128GB model.”
“The rumored pricing below is allegedly showing a lineup that would include 32GB, 64GB, and 265GB models for the iPhone 7 and 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB models for the iPhone 7 Plus and a new iPhone Pro line,” Kahn reports. “Alleged leak schematics that appeared in a Japanese magazine a couple months back claimed to show an ‘iPhone 7 Pro’ model sporting a dual-camera system and Smart Connector functionality.”
Kahn reports, “The Pro line would be priced at a premium of around $150 USD on top of the iPhone 7 Plus line according to the rumored pricing.”
MacDailyNews Note: For reference, 5288 Chinese Yuan currently equals US$803.76 and 8888 Chinese Yuan equals $1350.94. Of course, those won’t likely be the actual U.S. retail prices.

I hope this rumor is false. If the iPhone 7 Plus starts at $750, that will make the Pro start at $900, and $1,100 for the 256GB version. I really want a reason to upgrade from my iPhone 6, but I’m just not seeing the value yet.
Wait, you’re “not seeing the value yet” of a device that has not been unveiled and about which no hard facts are known – no specs, no features, etc.? How can that possibly be, you moron?
That’s exactly right. I’m not seeing the value based on the rumors I’ve read about. What’s so difficult to understand about that? Obviously you’re interested in the rumors too, or you wouldn’t have clicked on the article. Does this mean I necessarily believe all the rumors? Of course not. And I’m quite capable of altering my views based on facts once they are revealed.
As it is, I’m much less excited about this upcoming iPhone than I have been for previous cycles. Sorry if that agitates you enough to call me names. You really don’t need to worry so much about it.
I think you have every right to express such an opinion based around the term ‘…but I’m just not seeing the value yet’ as you say based on present knowledge. At present that is all we can do. You clearly leave it open to change as the knowledge changes and firms up and I think that is a perfectly reasonable attitude. Its the trolls who claim information like this as concrete and slam a product as if fact that we should reserve our fire for
And yes, I do hope the Pro version starts at less than $900 and isn’t available only in the 5.5″ display, as moronic as that might be.
LMAO @brutal Truth response to _Realist_.
Apple instalment plan allows free iPhone upgrades every year and only costs $20-$40 per month…
It’s nice to know the price of “free” is only “$20-40 per month.”
I was wondering about the cost, haha…
You’re an imbecile.
And I cant wait to see the price premium for that extra RAM that costs them nothing.
I don’t know about anyone else, but 256GB is pretty exciting for me. I’m in on that alone.
Sooo, considering some of the rumors, iPhone Pro – dual camera system, image stabilization, slightly (less than a millimeter) thicker than the current iPhone 6/6S, A9 processor, 64-256 GB, 2 GB RAM, 12-hour battery life, water-resistant (maybe without the headphone jack), wireless charging. Smoke and mirrors, but it would make it look like there was innovation until the iPhone 8 comes along. But frankly, most of that will wait for the 8 (if its in the cards at all).
I have not heard most of that being proposed for the 7. The problem is that 7 and 8 rumours have been released at the same time so there is confusion at times I think.
Why would Apple provide commercially sensitive pricing information to the supply chain when everybody knows that the supply chain is the starting point for most Apple-related rumours?
There is no need for the supply chain to be given this information right now and every reason not to. This rumour doesn’t sound at all credible to me.
Yes that would be the logical view wouldn’t it.
For some reason rumors about the iPhone 7 make me miss fearless leader Steve more than usual. I guess to have that Wonka excitement again about an upcoming Keynote. Now you couldn’t pay me to watch one, they’re so embarrassingly awful.
Well the Developers was rather good, far better than the last Keynote I have to say so hopefully they are learning and Cook plays less of an on stage role as others have better presentation skills.
Bring on the iPad mini Pro😍
