While these might not be ideal for all users out of the box, there is ample room for tweaks and adjustments. If music is an indispensable part of your workout, we think the Jaybird Freedom is worth checking out,” Gabriele reports. “The first and most striking change we see in the Freedom’s design is the substantial reduction in size from the X2 and the switch to metal construction. The increase in build quality is undeniable, and the low profile of Freedom is a substantial upgrade from the X2.”
Gabriele reports, “Where the X2 had just minor improvements over the Bluebuds X, the Jaybird Freedom is the clear result of refinement and evolution beyond the original formula.”

MacDailyNews Take: We’ve been using wireless Jaybirds for some time now (currently the Jaybird X2 Sport Wireless Bluetooth Headphones) which we’ve found are easy to charge, easy to pair, light and comfortable, and work perfectly with our Apple Watches and iPhones.
Now, we’ll have to give the new Jaybird Freedom Wireless Buds a try!

I am holding out for a pair that also senses heat rate before I upgrade. But I am starting to think this might never happen.
