“According to data from app marketing service SensorTower, US iPhone users spent an average of $35 on apps in 2015,” Nate Swanner reports for TNW.
“Of that $35, a hefty $25 was on games. $3.40 went to music, while $1.80 went to social networking apps,” Swanner reports. “A svelte $1 was spent on entertainment, and the remaining $0.40 we dropped on ‘lifestyle’ apps.”
“Per device, we average of 10.5 games loaded,” Swanner reports. “There are also 3.4 photo and video apps, 3.3 social networking apps, 2.7 entertainment apps and 2.3 lifestyle apps.”
