If you are a Time Warner Cable video subscriber, the free TWC TV app turns your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch into another TV screen and lets you watch selected live cable channels while in your home, through your wireless home network.
The latest update, TWC TV 3.0 adds access to thousands of free and subscription on demand TV shows and movies, is optimized for iPhone 5, adds a “recently viewed channels” feature to the live TV program guide, fixes bugs, and offers performance enhancements.

Now, if they’d just get us faster Internet where we live!
They’ve been promising us faster speeds for two years now, and we got nada.
Interesting, I just got an email from TWC saying they raised my download speed 50%, from 10mbps to 15mbps. I’ll have to test it.
Tested, I’m now getting 21mbps down and the same 1mbps up. When I signed up, the target rates were 10mbps down and 1mbps up.
I’ve been watching my Dish channels and anything recorded on my Hopper for months now on my iPhone and iPad.
Thank you for posting this great news; it sounds like a great update for TW customers, but I wonder why they won’t get rid of that home network restriction. I really love the freedom that I get from my Sling Adapter and DISH Remote Access app. Working late nights in a DISH call center can get pretty boring, but since I can watch live TV or stream something from my DVR, the time never seems to drag. Maybe Time Warner will remove that home network restriction with their next update.
Cox cable has offered this for a while. I am able to watch certain live channels on my IPhone as they are broadcast on the networks
