“After a hearing today before U.S. Magistrate Judge Howard Lloyd in San Jose, California, Devine’s lawyer, Raphael Goldman, told Devine’s mother that it could take a few days for the lien against her Maryland home to be processed as collateral supporting a bail bond,” Rosenblatt reports

“Devine also posted a bond of $612,407 from his and his wife’s foreign bank accounts plus the equity in his home near San Francisco, while his brother also posted $50,000,” Rosenblatt reports. “Lloyd told Devine he must ‘continue to cooperate with the government to identify all accounts’ and transfer to the U.S. and pledge as bail another $313,000 remaining in Korean bank accounts.”

  1. Isn’t ost of this money he obtained in his alleged illegal dealings or things paid for with that money. Certainly Apple middle managers could not be paid that well! How could the court allow him bail using his allegedly ill-gotten gains? Shame!

  3. Bizzarro: what is this with the ignorant nonsense about Jackson? There was nothing — ever to this day — found to confirm him to be “paedophile”, and everything found that contradicts to it. For starters, accusers’ families are registered swindlers (fraud, theft, lawsuits) — which were connected all together via the same prosecutor and civil monetary lawyer. The latest accuser’s mother was found out to be shopping for civil money lawyers about possibility to sue Jackson more than year before meeting him. And she made her kids to accuse JCPenny staff of sexual abuse (while actually being caught with the theft). Accuser’s father from 1993 was phonerecorded (its on YouTube) discussing threats to ruin Jackson’s life if he will not get what he needs (financing of his cinema aspirations — being scenarist). That father was absent for years in the life of his son and got banned of work as dentist in few states because of fraud. He only appeared again when family of the boy get to know Jackson. Eventually, the accuser-boy stopped to talk to both of his parents and even got court’s restriction for his father to not get near to him. Jackson’s lawyer had witnesses-friends of the accuser who said that he confessed that nothing ever happened.
