RUMOR: Apple to create MacBook Air family with 3G, lower price points

“Apple could be readying a new very attractive MacBook Air family of notebooks recent sources indicated,” Alexandros Roussos reports for SiliconRumors.

“The most notable feature our sources expect to be added to the new MacBook Air is a built-in 3G modem allowing connectivity to high-speed cellular networks,” Roussos reports.

“Interestingly, sources hinted us at a new entry price ranging between $1300 and $1500 which clearly suggests a new and possibly smaller model could be part of the next generation MacBook Air family,” Roussos reports.
