Everybody knows that the iPhone can make phone calls, play movies & music, surf the web, and a lot more. But, Will It Blend? That is the question.
We’ve been waiting for this and our patience has finally been rewarded!
Will It Blend? Blendtec provides the answer here: http://www.willitblend.com/videos.aspx?type=unsafe&video=iphone
[Thanks to MacDailyNews Reader ;Rob” for the heads up.]
hell yeah, it blends!
It took a little longer than I thought it would. Tough little bugger
I hope they gain more than $500 in advertising to offset this stupis stunt.
Heresy!!!!!
What a freakin’ ID10t!!! But did you see how long it continued to display the picture, even while he was blending it???
Holy Crap! Notice how it “iSmoked” in the end?
It blends alright. Darn what a shame!
What a nut! The battery might have exploded like the Motorola one that killed that welder in China.
Watch the video over EDGE and ask yourself: Will Safari Crash?
Answer: Yes.
I have nothing better to do with my day than to look at stupid stuff like this so this is right up my ally. I fell pretty good about it. It even helps me feel good about myself to spend time commenting on this item. However, I unfortunately don’t have a witty comment like you more enlightened folks. Maybe when I get more experienced at it I can be witty too.
Blendtec has got to have one of the best virtual advertising campaigns out there. Blending an iPhone, for a paultry few bucks, is brilliant.
MW= “anything” as in “The Blendtec blender will blend anything.”
He’s lucky the battery didn’t explode when it was breached and exposed to the air. Maybe he had the good sense to let it fully discharge first.

Wow. I want a blender like that, mine barely gets through a banana.
@John C. Randolph
“good sense” would not exactly be a phrase I would include in a description of this fellow.
Please see a related site that should be cropping up soon: Will if it causes cancer?
“We’ve been waiting for this and our patience has finally been rewarded!”
Why have you been waiting? It’s a dumb gag that maybe was funny the first few times they did it. It’s played. The iPhone got all chopped up, what a shock.
Wow. I hope I’m not the one to drink a dacquiri after the iSmoke took over.
AHH HELL NO!!!
Don’t blend the iPhone….anything but that.
This is so stupid and boring! They should try some TNT or Semtex. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />
I cried and laughed at the same time. 10 days old, and he blends an iPhone, wh.. wh… what’s there to say?
Don’t forget, smashmyiphone.com is coming as well.
In the slow-mo, you can see that the iPhone took nine good whacks from the blades and the display was still working, even though pieces had been hacked off the iPhone. Wow. Tough beast.
Where is the blended iPhone on eBay?!? I want it!!
“I hope they gain more than $500 in advertising to offset this stupis stunt.”
I imagine they will get their biggest hit count ever. As sick and stupid as it was, I watched it.
That black power was interesting.
— be carfull what you buy on ebay! ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”grin” style=”border:0;” />
This is the best example of viral marketing today. It is TRUE genius
WTF? This is one of the most retarted experiments out there. Why dont you try blending your hand and see if it blends? Or why dont you try crashing your new Mercedes into a brick wall at 100km/h and see what happens? Or why not try jumping off a 15 floor building and see if you survive?
Seriously…I hate stupid experiments like this. One could use that 600$ for better purposes. Idiots.
That’s just wrong in soooo many ways
There is something wrong with a society when we can expend all the resources on making and buying things like an iPhone then just destroy like that – and take pleasure from it. Cool though.
