Apple has confirmed the first slate of concerts at its new Apple Music Hall in London, with Elton John set to inaugurate the intimate venue on September 28th.
The 600-capacity space, located at Battersea Power Station alongside Apple’s London office and store, was unveiled earlier this week. Performances will be streamed live worldwide on Apple Music. Artists will also leave with a finished Spatial Audio recording, a broadcast-ready mix, and multicamera video.
The opening run mixes established stars and rising names:
• Elton John — September 28
• Baby Keem — October 2
• Skye Newman — October 7
• Troye Sivan — October 13
• Arlo Parks — October 22
• Burna Boy — October 29
• Chase & Status — November 26
• Charli xcx — December 2
Several of the booked artists already have deep ties to the platform. Elton John has hosted his weekly Rocket Hour radio show on Apple Music since the service launched in 2015. Charli xcx previously hosted multiple seasons of The Candy Shop on Beats 1.
Tickets for Elton John, Baby Keem, and Skye Newman go on sale Monday, September 28 at 9 a.m. BST. Remaining dates will be announced later. An Apple Music subscription is required to stream the shows.
The venue is designed as a high-end, tightly controlled live-music space rather than a traditional arena. By pairing a small in-person audience with global livestreams and studio-quality recordings, Apple is positioning Apple Music Hall as both a concert destination and a content pipeline for the service.
