Apple is fully embracing the internet’s latest obsession: the cute, anthropomorphized Lil’ Finder Guy, the chubby blue-and-white mascot inspired by the classic Mac Finder icon.

Following the launch of the MacBook Neo in early March 2026, the character quickly captured hearts online. Fans have been creating 3D prints, stickers, mockups, and even high-resolution wallpapers of the little guy. Now, Apple is leaning all the way in — releasing nine new short videos this week featuring Lil’ Finder Guy in charming poses while sharing helpful Mac tips.

The videos, posted on both Apple’s TikTok account and YouTube Shorts, promote features on the new MacBook Neo. Examples include:

• A journaling tip with Little Finder Guy holding a book and pen
• A Passwords app demo where he’s peering through a magnifying glass
• Other quick tutorials on desktop Stacks, built-in ring light effects, dictation, GarageBand, and more

Each clip keeps the mascot front and center, adding a playful, approachable vibe to what could otherwise be straightforward how-to content. On TikTok, the video thumbnails cleverly form a larger mosaic image of Lil’ Finder Guy, turning the campaign into a fun visual puzzle for followers.

Here’s a collection of the latest Lil’ Finder Guy videos from Apple’s official YouTube channel (YouTube Shorts):

MacDailyNews Take: The campaign has struck a chord. Many users say the fun, slightly quirky energy feels like a refreshing change from Apple’s traditionally sleek and minimalist marketing. Lil’ Finder Guy is giving the venerable brand a more playful, approachable personality — especially appealing to younger users discovering the superior and fun Macintosh!
