Apple has officially announced a “special Apple Experience” scheduled for March 4, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. ET. This in-person event will take place simultaneously in New York, London, and Shanghai, marking a departure from Apple’s usual large-scale keynotes at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.
The invitation sent to select media members is notably low-key and cryptic — simply stating “You’re invited. Please join us in person for a special Apple Experience” in the respective city — without revealing specific products or confirming a streamed keynote/online broadcast. This format suggests a more intimate, hands-on showcase rather than a traditional high-production livestreamed presentation.

The company is on the cusp of releasing several new products, including new MacBook Pros, MacBook Airs, a low-cost MacBook in several colors and new iPad models. Apple’s also set to introduce the iPhone 17e.
Bloomberg News reported earlier this month that Apple has been preparing a launch for the week of March 2.
MacDailyNews Take: Rumors point to several new devices potentially being unveiled around this time (or in the weeks following), as Apple is reportedly gearing up for multiple launches in early 2026:
• iPhone 17e — A rumored budget/entry-level iPhone model (sometimes referred to as iPhone 17 SE or similar), positioned as an affordable option with modern features.
• MacBook Pro updates — Models with M5 Pro and M5 Max chips for higher performance.
• MacBook Air — Potentially refreshed with M5 chips.
• Low-cost/entry-level MacBook — A new affordable MacBook variant, possibly powered by an A-series chip like the A18 Pro, and available in multiple colors to appeal to a broader market.
• iPad refreshes — Including an updated iPad Air (possibly 8th gen with M4) and a new standard iPad (12th gen with A18).
