President Trump ends his Oval Office press conference with a little roast of CEO Tim Cook

On Wednesday, President Trump wrapped up his Oval Office press conference on Apple’s $600 billion investment in America with a little roast of CEO Tim Cook:

“I want to thank Tim Cook. He’s a great, great man; a visionary; a businessman, just about every quality you can have (looks at Cook and smiles slyly) other than athleticism. I’m looking at him; I’m not 100% sure, but are you a good athlete? I’ll bet you’re pretty good. I think he’s good at everything, but I want to thank you very much, Tim. Congratulations. Thank you all very much. Thank you.”

MacDailyNews Take: Good to see there’s some affection there between Trump and Cook with a little good-natured public ribbing. Bodes well for Apple going forward.

      1. No wonder Tim Cook loves Obama… and I mean LOVES.

Greg Gutfeld, “The Five,” August 6, 2025: “It’s hard to focus because Tim Cook reminds me of this lesbian organic farmer I knew years ago.”

  1. Mixed feelings here…On the one hand, if you bend over for the orange ahole, even if you are a serial killer and he will praise you. Tim Cook is not a genius, nor an innovator, or some of the other accolades Trump gave him. He kisses DJT’s a. Having said that, selfishly I’m happy that Apple stock has returned to what it was a week ago before the simple-minded investors got scared. We all know that Apple needs a new CEO who truly is an innovator. And hopefully that mindset is in progress. In the meantime, as long as Trump gets stroked and can (and will) claim that Apple is successful because of him, then so be it. As of today I’ve now only lost a million dollars since Dump came back into office. Tim, while you are here and they are looking for your successor, keep up the good work placating the Ego-In-Chief.

    1. Trump is available in 2029. Trump has more in common with Steve Jobs according to Lefties.-

      Both created successful companies.

      Both could be assholes.

Both have big egos that needed to be stroked.

Both are not innovators, but great showmanship.

      Both are great ribbers.

      Both have questionable athleticism.

      Both get the job done.

      1. I don’t know about similarities between Trump and Jobs.
Did Jobs ever figure out a way to LOSE MONEY running a casino?
Was he empty-headed enough that a gold and glass bauble bribe would get him to change his mind about a multi-trillion dollar corporation’s actions?

    2. That “million lost” was most likely gained when the previous Narcolepsy-in-Chief “bolstered” the econ with an unnecessary gush of $$ that elevated the $$ bags of all that held assets.
