Star of Apple TV+ series ‘Ted Lasso’ hopes World Cup brings Los Angeles together

Apple TV+’s “Ted Lasso” has officially been renewed for a fourth season.

The creators and stars of the acclaimed comedy “Ted Lasso” joined others at a Los Angeles event on Wednesday, celebrating the one-year countdown to the World Cup and Brendan Hunt (Coach Beard) shared his hope that the tournament would unite people globally.

Rory Carroll for Reuters:

Los Angeles will be one of the main host cities for the soccer showpiece in North America, welcoming eight matches including the United States’ first match and a quarter-final.

Brendan Hunt, a co-creator and actor in the Apple TV+ show about an upstart British football team with a U.S. coach, said Americans should embrace the influx of visitors from around the world.

“What America needs to get ready for with this World Cup is something that most Americans instinctively know, but just to make sure for those who don’t – there will be many people here who were not born here,” Hunt said during an on-stage interview.
“And just because they weren’t born here, you don’t need to be afraid of them.”

“Platform used,” said fellow co-creator Jason Sudeikis, who plays Lasso on the show.

MacDailyNews Take: That sort of overbearing sanctimony ruined season three of “Ted Lasso.” Season four ought to be a doozy.

A tourist is someone who legally enters a country for a temporary stay, typically for leisure, with proper documentation like a visa or passport, and complies with immigration laws. An illegal alien is someone who enters or stays in a country without legal authorization, often bypassing immigration processes or overstaying a visa. The key differences are legal status and compliance, or lack thereof, with entry/stay regulations.

Hunt said the tournament would be incredible. “You have to prepare yourself to surrender to a vibe you’ve never quite seen before because when folks come to these cities to see their teams play, they will take over in a way that is absolutely as benevolent as it is overwhelming,” he added.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino said last month after meeting with U.S. President Trump he was confident visitors would be welcomed for the World Cup as well as the Club World Cup, which runs from June 14 to July 13 and also has matches in Los Angeles.

  1. Note Brendan’s use of the word “afraid.” Brendan thinks he’s a mind-reader.

We don’t want criminals in our country. All illegal aliens are, by definition, criminals. Not difficult to understand, unless you’re a leftist socialist like Brendan.

I’d like for Brendan to attempt go to Germany, or France, or the UK without a passport and see if he gets in. If he does get in somehow, I’d like to see him apply for and receive benefits intended for German, French, or UK citizens, paid for by said citizens. Then, when the country attempts to apply its immigration laws, I’d like to see him “protest” by burning the flag of the country he’s in while looting retail stores, just to see how long he lasts.

To put it plainly: Brendan Hunt is just another stupid Hollywood commie a-hole.

  2. Thirty-five years ago, I stopped going to theaters to watch new movie releases because of the in your face sanctimony from over-paid, over-hyped, self-centered, world revolves around me, look-at me retarded actors from Hollywood.

    From Google, regarding…

Steve Jobs reportedly believed he had “cracked” the problem of building a revolutionary, simplified TV experience, particularly focusing on user interface and integration with other Apple devices. He envisioned a seamless, intuitive TV interface, like the iPad, and prioritized simplifying the user experience, eliminating complex remotes. However, he also recognized a fundamental go-to-market problem in the TV industry, including the subsidized business model and the complexity of interacting with various services and devices.
Here’s a more detailed look at Jobs’ views on the TV market:

    User Interface:
    .

Jobs believed that the interfaces of existing TVs were too complicated and needed a complete overhaul to be as simple and intuitive as the iPad.
    Integration with Apple Ecosystem:
    .
He envisioned a TV seamlessly integrated with other Apple devices, including iCloud, for a unified experience.
    Go-to-Market Strategy:
    .
Jobs identified a fundamental problem with how TVs were marketed and sold, including the subsidized business model that stifled innovation and the lack of a viable way to get a new, integrated TV to consumers.
Complexity of Interacting with Services and Devices:
    .
He recognized that users had to navigate multiple remotes and interfaces for different devices and services, which he wanted to simplify.
    Potential for Innovation:
    .
Despite the challenges, Jobs believed there was an opportunity to revolutionize the TV experience by creating a simple, integrated, and user-friendly device. (end from Google’s AI reply)

This was left to others to devise due to Jobs passing and what do we get? Apple streaming service added to the already growing list of companies streaming service, the AppleTV and the associated OS and platform for the device.

Hardly a “Eureka” moment, and to pull from the same obnoxious dead-pool of “talent” only to create the future retards of the entertainment industry is no incentive for me, at least, to bring that garbage into my home versus driving to the theater to watch that hot mess with overpriced popcorn and a soda.

Regarding Brendan Hunt thinking a bunch of soccer games is going to unite the world into some “Kumbaya” moment, he is sadly mistaken. It is hard to bring about unity to people who are being paid to be divisive!

Receiving reports out of New York tonight that 88 antifa members were arrested.
They were from out of state and came to riot. They’re NOT MEXICAN OR HISPANIC and were waiving Mexican flags.
    This is a giant psy-op.

  3. First & Hurray: Thank you for cogent and verifiable analyses of the real root of the problem… delusional overpaid DumboCraps who are out-of-touch with the majority of American citizens and are so ignorant of history that they don’t even realize that they are dupes of global forces that seek to destroy the USA.
