Apple named 'World's Most Valuable Brand' for fourth consecutive year

Apple has been named the world’s most valuable brand for the fourth straight year in Kantar’s 2025 BrandZ report, with a brand value of $1.29 trillion, up 28% from last year.

The report attributes Apple’s dominance to strong consumer trust, premium positioning, and successful expansion across hardware, software, and services. Apple’s brand accounts for about 12% of the $10.7 trillion total value of the BrandZ Global Top 100.

Kantar highlights Apple as a leader in two rapidly growing sectors: consumer technology and luxury, which grew 46% and 45%, respectively, outpacing such categories as finance, automotive, and telecoms.

The report points to strong demand for premium products like the iPhone Pro models and Apple Watch Ultra as evidence of Apple’s strength in consumer technology and luxury.

  1. The “World’s Most Popular Brand,” that purportedly, has been a critical factor in China’s manufacturing and tech rise.

“Somedude” dropped a related link (https://x.com/joshdcaplan/status/1922296646274072966) days ago that probably flew under the radar to many, and this podcast features the writer putting the topic in the public’s face https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/honestly-with-bari-weiss/id1570872415?i=1000708302320.
I read an article a couple of yrs ago that clearly stated China’s policy of working with companies in-Country with a lot of conditions. In short; you work here–we get your tech (a lot of it). I dismissed AAPL’s participation, thinking; “they’re different,” but it appears not to be the case. To think that phone tech is “just phone tech” and hardly a risk for bleeding to other critical (defense) is absurd. AAPL/Cook has been a major player in China’s rise…an American sacrifice.

    1. Also, the podcast details the “BS” per “transfer” of manufacturing now happening in other places (mainly India). The link to China–even with Indian participation–is unbroken.
