Wedbush analysts believe Apple’s upcoming holiday season will be a “key” period for the company, with the iPhone 16 marking the beginning of its AI-driven growth era. The strong performance of the iPhone 16 is expected to fuel a “renaissance of growth” for Apple over the next 18 months.

MT Newswires:

“The release of 18.2 will be a significant software update for Apple Intelligence which will bring a suite of AI features including ChatGPT integration,” the analysts said.

Apple’s unmatched installed base of over 2 billion iOS devices, a $2 trillion services business, and a growing AI ecosystem positions the company for future growth, the analysts added.

Wedbush said it expects Apple to sell over 240 million iPhones in fiscal 2025, “setting the stage for a supercycle” driven by AI.

MacDailyNews Take: Wedbush maintains an “Outperform” (Buy) rating and a $300 price target on Apple stock.

  1. After briefly flirting with the idea of buying a 16 Pro Max I settled on an eBay refurbished 15 Pro Max 1TB for about $900 less. I hope they start delivering something useful with AI because what I’ve seen so far is underwhelming to say the least. iOS18 also broke my live activities for cycling metrics on my iPhone, frankly I’m more interested in these core things working consistently than new features. I’d be fine with NO new features for a couple of years, just rock-solid reliability.

  2. When voice dictating, Apple’s “AI” still misspells and cannot learn my email domain, even though it’s been in my address book for 2 decades. The topper though is Apple’s “AI” produces “mack.com” when dictating “xxxxx@mac.com”.

    Beyond inexplicable.
