Lunch with Tim Cook auction raises $515,000 for Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights

“It’s time to dine with Tim Cook at Apple’s HQ in Cupertino,” Zac Hall reports for 9to5Mac. ”

One lucky (and generous) bidder has won Charitybuzz’s fundraiser campaign to have lunch with the Apple CEO at 1 Infinite Loop, plus attend a future Apple event during the next 12 months.”

“The $515,000 raised from the winning bid at the end of the auction will support the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights group, where Cook recently joined the board,” Hall reports. “Cook’s Charitybuzz campaign raising $515,000 compares to previous efforts in past years including $200,000 in 2015, $330,001 in 2014, and $610,000 in 2013.”
