Apple debuts new Kenny Chesney ad for Apple Music, featuring Apple Watch and iPhone 6s Plus

Apple debuted a new TV ad for Apple Music during the Country Music Awards yesterday evening.

The ad, shot at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, USA, features country recording artist Kenny Chesney along with his Apple Watch and Apple Music.

Chesney performs the spot’s voiceover:

I get out there, I leave every bit of me I have on that stage. Every single night. I gotta leave everything I got: My blood, sweat, and tears. But, somewhere along the way, we all forgot how much music can really matter, so we ned a place where music is treated with real reverence and respect; a place that’s got a human element; a human touch. Music, it’s the last real thing we got. So, we need all the songs we want, and the best playlist, easy-to-find, put together; great songs recommended to me by people who live it. ‘Cause music’s with me, it’s everywhere I go. Apple Music. This is why I live.

That prose wasn’t signed “Jimmy Iovine,” but it might as well have been.

The ad closes with the flowing text superimposed: “ALL THE MUSIC YOU WANT” which cuts to “THREE MONTHS FREE NOW” cuts to “APPLE MUSIC.

MacDailyNews Take: Pretty effective ad, especially given its placement in the CMAs.
