Apple releases OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan public beta

“The early OS X 10.11.1 build was released last week for developers, and is now also available to those of us who are enrolled in the public beta program,” Mihaita Bamburic reports for BetaNews.

“The official changelog, that is available when accepting the update through App Store, lists ‘stability, compatibility, and security’ improvements,” Bamburic reports. “But that is not all that is new.”

Bamburic reports, “Apple has also introduced new Emojis in the first OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan public beta, to bring it in line with iOS 9.1, which is also available for developers and public testers. And, yes, they now include the middle finger Emoji.”
