iPad Pro: September 9th reveal with iPad mini 4; October pre-orders, November launch

“Apple’s September 9th event is set to be one of the company’s largest events in history,” Mark Gurman reports for 9to5Mac.

“Besides a pair of new iPhones, the substantially revamped Apple TV set top box, and new bands for the Apple Watch, Apple is currently planning to debut a pair of new iPads at next week’s event: the long-rumored iPad Pro, and a refreshed version of the iPad mini, according to trusted sources,” Gurman reports. “The ‘iPad Pro’ (which is actually the planned name of the device) is currently scheduled to hit retail outlets in November, following a pre-order campaign that will launch toward the end of October, sources indicate.”

“They have said that next week’s event will include an ‘unprecedented’ blitz of product introductions, even potentially outmatching last year’s iPhone 6, Apple Watch, and Apple Pay keynote at the Flint Center in Cupertino,” Gurman reports. “If the iPad Pro is indeed shown off next week, sources indicate that the new iPad mini 4 will also be introduced alongisde it. A third version of the iPad Air is also in the works, but sources confirm that it won’t be released until 2016.”

    1. You see I’m just the opposite, Apple can’t get my money any longer. Steve Jobs always could because he innovated.

Lazy Cook expects you to pay more and get either the same product or one with less features, absent ANY innovation whatsoever!

      That’s why I passed on:

The iPhone 5s (kept my 5)
      The one port Macbook
      The overpriced Mac Pro
      The Apple Stupidwatch
      Apple Music
      Add IPad Pro soon

That’s because I know the iPad Pro will just be a bigger iPad that works identically to every other iteration, without any innovation at all. Unless it can run OSX I won’t even consider it. I already have an Air 2 and an iPad mini. And this c*+cksucker wonders why iPad sales have been perpetually tanking!

We upgraded to iPhone sixes because that lazy SOB finally made a big phone.

The only way you would know is if you worked for Apple. If thats the case then you just violated the NDA you signed when you were hired.. but of course we all know that you don’t know and that you don’t work for Apple. Nice try. Next.

  1. Here’s the BIG suprise:
Tim Cook walks out on stage and says, “Apple has been getting sloppy and putting out shit software like bloated iTunes, crappy iOS Music, and buggy crud for a couple years now. One more thing….we don’t care. I’d also like to announce our 5th paying customer of Crapple Music. Yay!”

      1. Actually, he has a point. You can’t deny the buggy crap that Cookie is letting out. Even this very site openly acknowledges that iTunes is a buggy sluggish bloated mess and iOS music and Apple music are pathetic.
