Apple granted three Apple Watch patents

“The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office officially published a series of 47 newly granted patents for Apple Inc. today,” Jack Purcher reports for Patently Apple. “In this particular report we cover Apple Watch design patents and a utility patent for a possible future iPhone feature covering Push-to-Talk. We wrap up this week’s granted patent report with our traditional listing of the remaining granted patents that were issued to Apple today.”

“Apple was granted five design patents today,” Purcher reports. “The main three cover Apple Watch bands for Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch Edition representing three bands: Link Bracelet (D727,199), Sport Band (D727,197) and Modern Buckle (D727,198).”

Purcher reports, “The other design patents covered an old model iMac and an icon for ‘Copy.'”

MacDailyNews Take: Knockoffs of Apple’s now-patented Link Bracelet, Sport Band, and Modern Buckle, which claim to offer the “same look and feel as the Apple straps” are currently available on Amazon (here, here and here). We wonder if they’ll be pulled?

        1. You need to realize that my son, trolldude, has been bad and consequently, he has been banned from MDN. He is angry and trying to get back at people on this site by down voting them. I know it is pathetic but it is all he can do. He comes on the site using a private window and pastes the link to each page in a new tab while repeatedly down voting posts.
