Authorize.Net, which provides the infrastructure and security necessary for retailers to submit fast, reliable and secure transaction data over the Internet, has posted the following open letter:

We’re excited to announce our support for Apple Pay, which Apple announced during its recent keynote event. Not only do we expect Apple Pay to be a leader in mobile and in-app payments, it will be included at no additional cost with every Authorize.Net account.

Apple Pay allows merchants to use their Authorize.Net account to securely accept and process in-app payments from customers with the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Apple Pay uses the Visa Token Service and similar tokenization solutions developed by MasterCard and American Express.
