“T-Mobile sent out notices to staff [yesterday] informing them that iPhone pricing is set to change,” Cam Bunton reports for TmoNews. “From August 27, iPhone device only pricing will drop by up to $50. Included in the price drop are all models of the current iPhone range plus any older models stores might still have in stock.”
“So far, we’re yet to see any specific pricing on individual models and devices, but the ‘up to $50’ in the memo would suggest that not every single model is going be dropped by $50,” Bunton reports. “It’s no surprise to see a price drop on iPhone given the upcoming device launch. Apple is expected to announce a brand new generation of iOS-powered smartphones on September 9th.”
