“Apple was involved in one of the Top Ten Most Ridiculous Lawsuits of 2013, according to the U.S. Chamber Institute for Legal Reform’s (ILR), an organization that ‘seeks to promote civil justice reform through legislative, political, judicial, and educational activities at the national, state, and local levels,'” Dennis Sellers reports for Apple Daily report.
“A man who said he became addicted to pornography after accidentally visiting an adult website sued Apple for not blocking them,” Sellers reports. “According to the plaintiff, the sites ‘appealed to his biological sensibilities as a male and led to an unwanted addiction with adverse consequences,’ including ‘desiring, younger more beautiful girls featured in porn videos than his wife, who was no longer 21.'”
