“A rear panel believed to be for the upcoming second-generation iPad mini appears to have been leaked from Apple’s supply chain,” Killian Bell reports for Cult of Mac.
“The panel is largely the same as the existing one — suggesting the new model will look identical to the original — but it has a new Apple logo on its back,” Bell reports. “On the existing iPad mini, the Apple logo is mirrored and it’s printed onto the aluminum — just like on the iPhone 5.”
Bell reports, “But according to this rear panel, Apple is going to use the traditional black Apple logo that’s embedded inside the aluminum — like that of the larger iPad — for the second-generation model.”
