  1. All automakers could save themselves a lot of grief (not to mention weight and cost and customer goodwill) if they replaced their antiquated pathetic kludged infotainment systems with an iPad dock in the dash.

  2. That cool and good for those who can afford to drive a Ferrari or any other car well made car and that manufacture has decided not to scrimp on quality. Good for Apple as well but lets get real, that is going to amount to about 60 total sales per year.

  3. I wonder how the iPad mini wood look in a 66 Chevy II two door sedan with a 427 Rat motor,high-rise, dual quads and all the goodies? The Ferrari would blush! There’s nothing like a good old American hunk of iron.

While Ferrari offers touring cars that could benefit from iPad integration, there is also no point in installing one in LaFerrari, the fastest track-oriented prancing horse to date. Obviously Ferrari has no intention of installing any iOS device in this thing. http://www.automobilemag.com/auto_shows/geneva/2013/1303_ferrari_laferrari_first_look/photo_02.html

Personally, I am surprised that Apple would link with such a low-volume car company with before establishing deals with touring car makers Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls Royce, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Cadillac, Fisker, Alfa Romeo, and Lexus. Steve was a Mercedes man, was he not?
