OtterBox predicts iPad 3 release

“Well, here it is. The first e-mail for a case for the iPad 3,” David Carnoy reports for CNET.

Excitement is building and the rumor mills are spinning toward another highly anticipated Apple announcement. We don’t know when, but we do know that the next iOS device will receive iProtection from OtterBox. We’re expecting a new iPad and whether it’s an iPad 2S, iPad 3 or something else, we can confirm we will have a Defender Series case available…[it] will be OtterBox’s flagship option for the new device.

“It comes courtesy of Otterbox, which is getting a jump on its competitors and is already asking media members to line up for review samples of its new Defender Series case,” Carnoy reports. “(Average civilians can sign up to receive an e-mail alert when the new case launches).”

  1. Sucker predicts iPad 3 release.

Seriously it’s kinda hard to be wrong with that one. As if Apple will sit on its laurels and keep the iPad 2 in production forever.

Sucker predicts iPad 4 release. Sucker predicts iPad 5 release.

I’d be hard pressed to bet against either of those.

    Sucker predicts iPad 25 release.

Now that one may never come to pass, because I’m sure that by then Apple will have either come out with a new naming nomenclature or will have replaced the iPad with a line of devices I cannot even imagine.

  2. Wow…

I could make a *lot* of posts about ‘Sucker’, but I shall refrain…

OtterBox is a maker of premium iPod, iPhone & iPad outer-ware.

If you own an ‘i-Device’, get an OtterBox.

Leave the rest to the ‘Suckers’…

  3. I’m getting an iPad 3, or 2S, or 2.13456545b if it has ANY of the following:

    1. A glowing Apple logo in the back
    2. iPhone 4S camera
    3. Higher resolution screen, though the current one is awesome, more is more awesomer.
    4. Dual antenna like iPhone 4S.
    5. Adobe Flash (ok, just kidding!)
