Apple today released iPhoto 9.2.1 which addresses an issue that could cause iPhoto to quit unexpectedly on Macs with the 3ivxVideoCodec plug-in installed
Included in version 9.2
• Addresses compatibility with iCloud and iOS 5
• Left and right swipe gestures can now be used to navigate between photos in Magnify (1-up) view
• Previously imported photos are now displayed in a separate section of the Import window
• Book/calendar themes and card categories can now be selected using a pop-up menu in the carousel view
• Resolves an issue that could cause some pages of books to print incorrectly
• Rebuilding a library now correctly preserves saved slideshows and books
This update requires Mac OS X 10.6.8 or OS X Lion 10.7.2 or later and is recommended for all users of iPhoto ’11. It is available via Software Update and also as a standalone installer.

Will it delete all the books I made?
3ivx codec. WOW, I remember needing that eons ago. With the release of Perian for Mac OS X who in the world still uses 3ivx?
for encoding? am I missing something?
It would be nice if Photostream could handle video soon.
At present, one still has to connect the iPhone by cable to import the videos to the Mac.
If you purchased iPhoto 11 via the Mac App Store, the update is available there – NOT via Software update.
Fixed my problem, since my iMac’s iPhoto Crashed every tIme it started after the update. Purchased a flip for a camping trip to Yosmite, never thought that would be the problem.
I wonder why it does not show up on software update? Currently i have 9.2
The App Store 9.2.1 update is only 15.1 MB’s.
