  1. Last week was one of the worst weeks ever in Tech. This week is turning into the BEST with new updates to iTunes, Lion, OS 5, the cloud and the new iPhone4S. What a difference a week makes. Did I mention that Apples Stock is up too?

    1. Yes, you need the full NHL Live package to watch games. Everything else seem accessible.

I would pay it in a second if the NHL still didn’t have the archaic and idiotic local blackout thing, especially since I cut Time Warner cable service a few years ago.

    1. Lol. Instead of moaning, why don’t you go do something productive. Then you could afford $500 a year for the most advanced devices ever.

Actually, nevermind that, perhaps you should go Occupy Cupertino. Maybe they’ll give you another handout, hippie.

    2. Yawn. Stop whining… You give apple customers a bad name with your ignorance of how businesses and profitability work. Plus, you ever think about the processing power required to show something on 2 screens–often something different on each? Of course you need the A5 for this!

  2. I read where they are coming out with a small hardware upgrade for ATV, love all 4 of ours!

and yes this week seems like Xmas, all the new Apple goodies! running iTunes match, now in step one, “gathering information about your iTunes library ”

and our Mexican internet just bumped our speed from 4MB to 10 MB, 3 years ago it was 1MB

      1. I DL iTunes beta 10 and IOS5 last week,, and it allowed me to purchase match, did say it would be removed when the beta is off, but I would receive 3 additional months to the subscription

      1. Cablemas!
Really like the service, they are upgrading all the time and keep the same price! We are south of cancun in Tulum, small town!

I have my iPhone with TelCel, got the iPhone 4 free with a 2 year contrct of 900 peso, unlimited data and hotspot

  3. I am unclear…I assume the NHL excitement is for those who do not have the appropriate cable channels to watch the games? As I have TSN etc, why would I need it (I do have an ATV).

    1. Or… for those that only have cable to watch NHL and therefore want to be released from the shackles of their cable company.

People who are really into live sports, tend to ONLY watch live sports.

  4. And me!

No LOCAL Games! It’s absolutely nuts (and pure greed) that the NHL still clings to local game blackout rules.

Living in NYC and following the Rangers… and the Devils to retain a shred of sanity… it would be nice to be able to see any game in the league live.

    Bruins and Habs anyone?
