T-Mobile says no iPhone in 2011 while Sprint’s silence speak volumes

“T-Mobile in a discussion at the Mobilize conference further ruled out the prospects of an iPhone 5 on its network,” Electronista reports.

“CMO Cole Brodman told AllThingsD his network would ‘love to have’ the iPhone, as it was a ‘great device,’ but was adamant there would be no iPhone on T-Mobile in 2011,” Electronista reports. “‘If we were to get an iPhone this year, nobody has told us,’ Brodman explained.”

Electronista reports, “Sprint CTO Stephen Bye, however, gave non-denials that supported the indirect confirmation of iPhone plans. When pressed, he explained that he “can’t comment” on whether or not an Apple deal was in the works.”
