Apple today released iTunes 10.4.1 which provides a number of improvements, including:
• Fixes a problem where the media keys on some third-party keyboards work inconsistently with iTunes
• Addresses issues with adding artwork to songs and videos
• Resolves an issue which may cause iTunes to become unresponsive when purchasing an HD movie
• Fixes a problem where iTunes may take longer than expected to open after waking your Mac from sleep
• Addresses issues with VoiceOver support
iTunes 10.4.1 is available via Software Update and also via standalone installer.

Set your guys to give us an option to unplug the “auto save/save as” in prefs instead of releasing new versions of iTunes every week…!
hmmm… But is it ‘snappier’?
😉
What about full screen iTunes shrinking dimensions when the menu bar comes and goes leaving a blank gray space!!!!
I had this problem not with the menubar but with the dock…
And then (off-topic but somehow related): apple, please make the Finder display m4a-artwork again…
Full screen is nice….with the videos, not much else.
Oddly, yesterday I moved my library from my named account to the main drive so that it could be accessed by all the people in the house when I am signed out (I travel).
The new library was 60 GBs smaller (355 to 285) yet I haven’t found anything missing save a few GBs of home movies not in my iTunes folder anymore (but still listed in iTunes). These are duplicates, so with them gone, I still can’t find the difference.
I wonder if it is just that much more efficient? Strange….
Check your sock drawer, or the dryer.
I did. Nothing there but some lint, a live chinchilla, and a stained shirt belonging to some guy named ‘Hoffa’….
Hmm….That iTunes stuff is a real mystery.
Bastards! More coffee through the nose. God I hate that.
Great stuff. Thanks for the laugh
I wish I could be optimistic, but soon after getting the new version I tried syncing my iPod and iPad. Mid way through picking what I wanted to sync, the trackpad went completey nuts. The cursor was jumping around randomly around the screen and turning on my wireless mouse did nothing to help. I couldn’t close the program since I had no control and even the keyboard was unresponsive. I ended up SSHing in from another Mac to force a reboot. If there’s a bug to find…
I always seem to trip over them first. 🙁
Snap! they didn’t fix the bug that makes me wanna use Sticher for podcasts and Spotify to PLAY – ANY – SONG – EVER – MADE!!!!!!!!!!
Well, ‘least it does a good job backing up my iPhone.
Just installed 10.4.1 and Logtech Wave Keyboard media keys STILL do not work…
