Apple to webcast Q311 earnings conference call on July 19th

Apple will provide live audio streaming of its FY 11 Third Quarter Results Conference Call using Apple’s industry-leading QuickTime multimedia software. The live webcast will begin at 2pm PDT / 5pm EDT on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 and will also be available for replay for approximately two weeks thereafter.

As usual, MacDailyNews plans to cover Apple’s conference call with live notes beginning at at 2pm PDT / 5pm EDT on Tuesday, July 19, 2011.

MacDailyNews Note: Currently, the analysts’ consensus estimates call for $5.63 EPS on revenue of $24.52 billion (vs. Q310 results of $3.51 EPS on revenue of $15.70 billion). On April 20, 2011, Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer provided the following guidance: “Looking ahead to the third fiscal quarter of 2011, we expect revenue of about $23 billion and we expect diluted earnings per share of about $5.03.”

  1. Well, since Apple’s sales of each major category are expected to be no less than in the previous quarter, and iPad sales are up from 4+ million to 7-8 million, more accurate prognosis for revenue should be about $27 billion or even maybe more; but lets see.

    1. (Jobs announced on 6th June that iPad cumulative sales were 25+ million to that date. Since by the end of previous quarter the count was at 19+ million, it means that Apple sold 6+ million iPad to that date. Three more weeks from that date to the end of current quarter would make another 1-2 of million — hence sales for the full quarter is about 7-8+ million.)
